A fascinating late medieval to early Renaissance gilt metal bead or decorative fitting dating to approximately the 15th–16th century A.D. This elongated hexagonal example features carefully incised geometric ornamentation executed in a distinctly medieval decorative style.

The engraved linear motifs create a striking architectural appearance reminiscent of Gothic-era decorative arts. Traces of original gilding remain visible across the surface, adding further visual character and historical appeal.

Small decorative fittings and beads of this nature were commonly incorporated into personal adornment, garments, devotional objects, or ornamental metalwork during the medieval period.
